Botherit, they found it. And it was getting good and ripe, too. Dang. Still, I got to finish it off while Sally went to get stuff to clear it up, life could be worse!

Stupid boy. Well, he turned up yesterday in a carrying box with Tim and Sally, and he's got us all shut in for a week, we're having to get the Nicolai human to open the door to let us out all the time, seems Sally and Tim are away for a few days. He had me worried sick, too. Apparently he had been following another girl (*disdainful sniff*) and hadn't noticed which direction he was going. 5 of them there, too, as well as a dog and birds and fish and things. He's said he might take me next time ... but I don't think he can remember how he got there ....

Tyler's disappeared, I can't find him anywhere .. I'm really worried about him, I'm sure he must be around here somewhere, I saw him a minute ago ... Sally and Tim are really worried too,but they're not here much at the moment, they're running around amdly with this whole "wedding" thing going on, so it's down to me to find him .... Tyler, Tyler, where are you?!

Hah, let's see them find THAT one. We made a bit of a mess with the feathers, but we've hidden it for our own personal consumption. Teach them to turn our offerings down...

Well, they didn't seem to be able to cope with wood pigeon, so I thought I'd try them on something different today. Seems they're not overly keen on sparrow either...

We're getting rather concerned about our female human - she's gone a bit odd. She's made this funny watery pulpy stuff, and she's filled one of our litter boxes with water and she seems to be covering bits of cloth with this stuff. It's not very tasty, and it has shiny sparkly bits in it, or at least it starts off with them in it. They seem to be breeding though, they're all over the place! It's not even very good to sit on because it's all wet, and although she puts the stuff in the hot box (I think I've heard them call it an oven) she's putting it under big piles of books as soon as it comes out, all nice and warm and cosy. We came in from outside and wandered over some of these things, and you should have heard her eeking and grumbling... you'd think she didn't appreciate our signing them for her.. Anyway, answers on a postcard to "What on EARTH is she doing?", Claws for Thought, Chesterton, Cambridge!

Hah, teach them to not let me out of the front door! Just snuck in through their first floor window at the front *giggle*. Maybe they'll get the idea that I know how to get to the front?

Daft humans... They can't hunt, so you go and help them out and what do they do? Throw it away! What a waste.. I shall have to try harder to get the point across.

I've found a new game to play with the humans! They have these warm purry things called computers, which as you can see we're rather adept at using, and they sit there for hours and fiddle with them. Well, they're tapping away with their fingers and absolutely love it when I chase and bat at them! Their desks are very comfortable, and I curl up next to the keyboard or monitor while I play. If I get hungry, they let me chew on their keyboard.. I personally recommend the "Caps Lock" and "Esc" keys, but for true gastronomic delights, you might like to try "F1" and "F3" too. For variety, I find the windows key rather irresistable.

Ooh, ow, my poor aching body.. I hadn't realised quite how unfit I had become, stuck inside for so long. Ooh, I can feel muscles I didn't know I had... Anyway, we're well pleased with the new addition to our realm. I got Tim to make me a special hole in the back fence to save my poor joints from having to jump over, so I can get out to the wilds of Chesterton. Morag showed off her tree climbing skills, although we had a surreptitious giggle when she tried to leap to the top of the willow and fell off. I was most impressed by her fir-tree climbing speed, however. 0 to 6 feet in under a second! Anyway, we're all quite exhausted now, so I'm off *yawwwn* to join the others in a week-long nap. Zzzzz z z z z z . . .

Ooooh, our human put another cat-flap in, looks like we're allowed outside now. Hooray! Excuse us for our swift departure, but we're off to explore pastures new.

The little cowbag nicked the very bit of chicken I was eating! Oooh, she's asking for trouble! Nobody steals my chicken, much less while I'm mid-chew! *indignant splutter*

It would appear that we have a new member of the pack, a female this time. How curious. We're not quite sure what to make of her at the moment - we'll sit tight and see what she does....
